Introduction

JavaScript Kepler File Explorer is a sample app designed to display Verizon Personal Cloud Storage user content. You can use it to view information about photos, videos and music files. The account information feature allows you to display the quota usage details for the Verizon Personal Cloud Storage account.

Before you can download JavaScript Kepler File Explorer, you must first log on to ThingSpace Developer Portal and accept Verizon terms and conditions. If you start downloading the file without logging on, the download will stop and you will be redirected to the log on screen. Download will resume after a successful log on.

Setting up Your App

  1. Download Java Script Kepler File Explorer.
  2. Unzip JavaScript Kepler File Explorer_X.X.zip.
  3. Place the contents into an apache2 web directory.
  4. Open {{path to sdk}}/scripts/services/cloudWrapperService.js.
  5. Change the values in the thingspace.cloud.init() file to the values that you have obtained from Key Management when you registered your app:

    • clientKey - change to Key
    • clientSecret - change to Secret
    • callbackUrl - change to HTTP callback address

  6. Open your webapp in your browser and click Signin with Verizon Cloud.

NOTE: CALLBACK_URL is case sensitive.
